“Marsh Labels moved their IT support over to NEXT STEP IT back in 2010. Our previous supplier was reactive to issues whereas NEXT STEP IT are more proactive in Their philosophy. Their ethos of regular site visits meant that staff proactively mentioned smaller issues to the support engineer when on site that rectified these issues before they became major system failures. Along with remote monitoring of our servers and systems it provides an extremely comprehensive support package. Our experiences of prior support providers meant that after a major failure we would have to wait for an engineer to arrive on-site to rectify the issue, ultimately having a downtime of around 24 hours.
For a fast paced company like Marsh Labels, this type of proactive support is imperative to maintain a smooth digital workflow within the business.
In the last couple of years we have also implemented NEXT STEP IT’s new remote backup services as part of our disaster recovery policy. Although we have never had a full disaster recovery situation, when tested, we had our systems back up and running within hours which was very impressive and reassuring.
